I grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and completed my bachelor’s degree in integrative biology with a minor in chemistry from Texas A&M – Corpus Christi in 2013.
For the next 4 years I worked as an emergency/critical care and surgical vet assistant at a referral hospital in San Antonio, Texas before attending Ross University Veterinary School in St. Kitts, West Indies in 2018 and attended North Carolina State Vet School in Raleigh, North Carolina in 2021 to finish my clinical year with highest honors and being inducted into the Phi Zeta honor society. I stayed in the Raleigh area, completing both a small animal emergency and specialty rotating internship in 2022 and a specialty surgical internship in 2023 at BluePearl in Cary, NC. I then moved to the Philadelphia area and completed a second specialty surgical internship at BluePearl in Conshohocken, PA in 2024. My passions include soft tissue surgery of all kinds, client education on surgical diseases, cytology, urgent care, and neurology.
In my free time I love spending time with my wife and daughter. I am a huge foodie and love to cook and explore new eateries. I also love anything that has to do with watersports like scuba diving, surfing, and free diving.
